Trump’s arraignment scheduled for Thursday: Here’s what to expect
“Aug. 2 (UPI) — Former President Donald Trump is expected to make his first appearance in a courtroom in Washington, D.C., on Thursday after he was indicted on four counts related to his alleged scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 election and instigate the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.
The arraignment is scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, according to the court website. That site is located a block west from the U.S. Capitol, where Trump’s supporters rioted in an attempt to prevent the election certification of President Joe Biden.”

July 20, 2022 – Trump is still trying to get the 2020 Election Results changed!
Trump urged Wisconsin Assembly speaker in July to decertify Biden 2020 election win
“KEY POINTS
- Former President Donald Trump this month called Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and urged him to decertify President Joe Biden’s 2020 election win in that state, Vos said.
- “He would like us to do something different in Wisconsin. I explained that it’s not allowed under the Constitution,” Vos said in an interview.
- Vos spoke two days before the next scheduled public hearing of the U.S. House select committee that is investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot by a mob of Trump supporters.
- A Georgia grand jury is collecting evidence as part of an investigation of Trump into whether he committed crimes in his effort to get state officials to overturn Biden’s 2020 win there.”

Who Is the Secret Service Really Protecting?
“To fully understand the events of that day, it’s imperative to know what the Secret Service did under such unprecedented circumstances. And the need for this information has only been heightened in recent weeks by disturbing revelations about three specific issues agents and officials would have insights on:
- The communications the Secret Service had with Trump about the weapons his rallygoers possessed and Trump’s desire to remove the security magnetometers at the rally so more of his supporters could be allowed in.
- An alleged altercation that occurred in Trump’s motorcade between Trump and his staff after Trump was denied his request to be transported to the Capitol.
- Pence’s refusal to allow the Secret Service to whisk him away from the Capitol after the mob breached its doors. Pence’s aide Greg Jacob chillingly testified last month that Pence told Tim Giebels, his lead Secret Service agent, “I trust you, but you’re not the one behind the wheel.”
The list of election deniers on the ballot keeps growing, and now includes the GOP…
In response to public testimony before the House Jan. 6th Committee, anonymous sources described as “close” to the Secret Service have disputed parts of these stories. But, so far, the Secret Service has not offered any actual evidence, at least not in the open.
And it gets worse—much worse. The Secret Service says it “lost” critical communications from January 5 and 6, 2021, supposedly as a part of a routine process.”

Trump team didn’t have the evidence and 4 other takeaways from the Jan. 6 hearing
“Here are five takeaways from the hearing:
1. Trump’s team knew it had no evidence or authority for its schemes
2. Pressure was widespread, institutional and helped destroy personal lives
3. Members of Congress were in on the pressure campaign
4. Democracy is fragile, relies on people and their willingness to do what’s right
5. Polarization on the right has become poisonous”
